Pirate Treasure Chest:

When looking for a model I wanted to capture the image of a classic Viking treasure chest. Unlike their Saxon counterparts, Vikings preferred chests with simple decor and flat tops for maximum capacity.

Treasure:

For my treasure, I wanted to play around with light and attempted to make a diamond-esque holy glow surrounding the real treasure: The floating image of  Five-time Grammy award-winning musical artist Billie Eilish.

Notes:

I Believe the whole project was a stunning success. While my artistic limitations were clearly evident in much of the modeling, the decision to keep the lines simple and familiar to me let me capture a style I was very happy with. Additionally, I had fun and enjoyed much of the modeling process.

Post Script Notes and Considerations:

Arnold was used for lighting and rendering of still images.

All models were fully designed by me.

Images of woodgrain were used for the textures on the box and lazy-Susan

Metal and rust textures were designed by me.
