Drop a bomb. Bounce A BALL

Principles of Animation Present:

Squash and stretch is the main focus of this project, however, other principles present include:

Anticipation when the ball hesitates to stretch after being dropped from the plane and when the ball is laying at rest in the middle of a busy street.

Staging 

The transition from the ball falling from space to it bouncing in the street was carefully staged for the effect of the ball falling in a straight line from space.

 Slow In and Slow Out

 Slow in and Slow Out was used on the vehicles in the background and on the ball as it begins rolling at the end of the bounce cycle

Timing

Timing was key in the final squash of the ball and in drawing the viewers eyes to the right position of the screen using the yellow car in the rear slowing down to keep your eyes rested on the ball until the surprise ending
